GUIDANCE FROM THE PTSSD – Pilot for 2026:
Annual Activities Grants of cumulative sponsorships
GOALS:
- Will allow the PTSSD to review a full year’s worth of sponsorship requests (up to $3,500) rather than a piecemeal approach.
- Will permit the PTSSD board to ask questions of an organization’s leadership to better understand their full impact on our neighborhoods.
- Hopefully, will encourage organizations to plan holistically as they consider all their annual funding needs: capital requests, grants and multiple sponsorships.
GUIDELINES:
- Any organization with 4 or more sponsorships (up to $3,500) each year will need to bundle them all together and present those sponsorship requests once to the PTSSD.
- This annual activities grant will need to be combined with all other funding requests: capital and large one-time grants.
- This grant request will need to cover the 12 months period after your PTSSD interview since grants can only be processed once each year.
- When scheduled, the leadership of the organization will need to present their total request to the PTSSD. The different pieces will need to be separated and detailed. A thoughtful, brief PowerPoint (or paper copy) summary is strongly encouraged.
- Caveat: if an amazing, unique sponsorship opportunity comes up during the year, an organization can come back to the PTTSD to present but there will be more scrutiny of this request.
LOGISTICS:
- Please complete one GRANT request form (rather than lots of sponsorships forms) and also include a breakdown of the various events.
- Final post-event reports with receipts will still be due individually within 6 months of the event.
